If your project involves a fixed-bed reaction, Dow Haltermann is the place to come for quick and economical R&D evaluation, scale-up, and startup. The R&D evaluation can be done in either a stirred reactor or in a computer-controlled fixed-bed lab reactor. A computer simulation of the process and reactor kinetics will also be developed. These evaluations can quickly determine the optimal catalyst, reactor conditions, reactor size and configuration. Dow Haltermann’s R&D and computer simulation capabilities assure successful scale-up at designed efficiency and cost.

Available fixed-bed reactors range in size from 50 gallons to 2000 gallons in carbon steel and stainless steel. This assortment of fixed-bed reactors can produce pilot-plant to full-scale production volumes.
